Address lookup
Passport sends the public address you enter to Base Blockscout through our server to read indexed activity. The server briefly caches normalized observations for five minutes. Public lookups need no wallet connection or signature. Allocation lookup separately requests this address’s standard and canonical smart-wallet operations through the fixed cutoff. Calculations, resumable progress and completed results are retained on the server for this campaign.
Saved observations
The last address opened in Genesis is remembered on this browser so you can resume your profile. If you choose “Save on this device”, Passport stores the address, observation time, score, transaction count and coverage on this browser. Up to 20 observations are retained. Records older than 90 days are removed when you next open Passport. “Clear saved history” removes this site’s observation log. Saving is optional and is not an account or ownership claim.
Genesis profiles and invitations
Opening Genesis creates a server record containing the public address, creation date and a personal invitation code. The selected referral remains provisional until the address owner confirms it with a signed message. Signed allocation reservations, confirmed referral relationships, reward records and personal codes are retained to prevent duplicate rewards and restore the same profile. Public profile pages show aggregate balances and invitation counts; they do not expose a list of invited addresses.
Owner confirmation is optional for reading an address. Verification messages expire after five minutes and cannot authorize a payment. Request limits use hashed IP and session identifiers in short-lived counters. Ending a device session does not delete the permanent profile or a confirmed referral relationship.
Links and shared cards
Opening a Passport from the homepage includes the public address in the page URL, which may appear in browser history and hosting logs. Explorer links send you to Blockscout. Downloaded cards omit the address by default; you can include a shortened address. Composing a post opens X for your review and does not publish automatically.
Infrastructure
Hosting providers may process standard request logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs. The production operator, retention periods and contact details must be published before public launch.
Cookies and analytics
Opening a Genesis profile sets an HttpOnly session cookie for seven days. It keeps your selected referral on this device. You can remove the session and remembered address by clearing this site’s browser data. No application analytics or marketing cookies have been added. Hosting access controls may use their own session cookies.
